Jay (Jordan) Rock

Born of his mother Dine Yucca Fruit Clan and Father Anishinaabe Bear Clan, Jay Rock is an environmental advocate and creative storyteller focused on climate justice. As a member of the Climate of Hope community board at the Natural History Museum of Utah (NHMU), Jay leverages art, film, and storytelling to inspire hope and action around environmental issues. His work highlights the intersection of environmental sustainability and community resilience, engaging audiences in meaningful dialogue about climate change. Jay also serves on the University of Utah’s Environmental Justice Resident Committee, where he collaborates with diverse stakeholders to address environmental inequities and promote inclusive solutions. Through his unique blend of art and activism, Jay is dedicated to fostering a deeper connection to the planet and inspiring positive environmental change.
