Trinh Mai is grateful to have served on the Environmental Justice Resident Committee, where she cherished the opportunity to collaborate with other environmental stewards in addressing neighborhood disparities and cultivating more loving and just relationships—among ourselves and with all species. An immigrant from Vietnam, Trinh is reconnecting with ancestral practices that remind her of her belonging to the natural world. She lives in Glendale and has been involved with University Neighborhood Partners in many capacities. Trinh is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist in private practice, as well as a mindfulness educator with the Osher Center for Integrative Health. Previously, she served as Director of Mindfulness Programs and Well-Being Specialist at the Resiliency Center and spent 13 years as faculty in the College of Social Work.
